Abstract

ANDI L, 2021, Analysis of the declining production of compressed air on the compressor on board the MV. Meratus Malino (supervised by Paris J.M. Senda and Tasdik Tona). The compressor has a very important role for the initial start of the main engine and generator. In the operation of the compressor, the high pressure valve and the low pressure valve are dirty, so the author is interested in pouring it into a scientific work. With the title of analysis of the decrease in the production of compressed air in the compressed air compressor. This research was carried out on board the MV. Meratus Malino. owned by PT. Meratus Line for one year. To carry out research by taking data on the object under study related to the title. The results showed that the crusts and scratches on the valves that had been repaired returned to normal, the air requirements for the main engine and generator have been met so that everything ran smoothly.
