Abstract

DIDI JUNAEDI, Analysis of the Implementation of Agency Services at PT. Gema Sena Tekad Sakti Surabaya Branch (Supervised by Rosliawaty A. Kosman and Sunarlia Limbong) Agent is one of the national shipping companies appointed by the principal to serve the ships, as well as the cargo while in the ports. This study aims to analyze the implementation of agency services at PT. Echo Sena Tekad Sakti Surabaya Branch. As for the recearch time for 10 months from august 2019 to may 2020. The design of this study used a descriptive design, while the samples taken were 2 vessel belonging to PT. The echo of the Sena of Magical Determination. The type of data consists of primary data obtained through direct observation and interviews in the field, while secondary data comes from report documents. The results obtained from this study indicate that generally ship agency services at PT Gema Sena Tekad Sakti Surabaya Branch, namely the loading and unloading process often occur damage to loading and unloading equipment and erratic weather can stop loading activities which cause demmurage and HR factors are still lacking in level of ability to work, planning and ineffective supervision during clearance.
